| I am considering the pros and cons of getting a motorhome (No not the type the F1 drivers use when they are at the circuit ) something based on a Merc diesel chassis perhaps. Anyone got any ideas especially about where to look on the net. | |

| Have you looked on Ebay to give yourself some idea of what's about.
I've just found a really nice one. Mercedes 312 Automatic TD Motorhome, item number 380076168020.

| Thanks Colin, yes, that would be the obvious place to look first, because I don't use e-bay I tend not to think about it Edit to add:- Just looked and that's the sort of thing I want and less money that I thought ('tho it has had two owners ) | |

| But the point is that you can use it as a pretty good guild of what to look for concerning the specs of the vehicle, and what you can get for your money.
Does it have to be a Mercedes? Because the one I really like is item number: 170278360839.

| I only said Mercedes from the reliabilty thing but I agree that a newish one from any major manufacturer should be Ok, that one does look very nice, maybe bigger than I need at 6 berths but definately a nice example. Well now I have to start looking at insurance and stuff - Thanks for your help | |
