Take on something like this, jeez it was hard work restoring her but she's purring like a kitten now.
This was what she was like when I got her.
The chassis was moth eaten.
But some 1.5mm thick plate steel can do wonders, and 200 welding rods too.
The engine needed a head job coz the cylinder-head gasket blew.
And the valves were needing re-seated as well.
Tricky sod to work on coz you have to lift out the complete head and manifolds together.
How she looks now, it took me 10 weeks of hard work but well worth the effort, she's a true off-roader, not like the new ones today, they're only for the posers.
She was built in 1991 and is really a farmers motor, I know one farmer who says he would'nt part with his for any price.
Anyone who has one and needs advice just PM me, I have the complete service manual.
